The reading was simply calculated from a zero start, while the last physical reading you took in May 2022 was already at 2041kl. You calculated the total water usage for Oct as 2108kl. Do you know how much water 2108kl is? An olympic swimming pool's worth! Here are the facts: The last recorded meter reading on my Jun 2022 statement was 2041kl (meter read on 20/05/2022). You billed me for a further 18kl in Jul 2022, 18kl in Aug 2022 and 28kl in Sept 2022. This brings us to a total of 2105kl. The correct water meter reading for Oct should have been 3kl, if you want to be pedantic about it. I am attaching a photo of my water meter taken on 28 Oct 2022 for your information.
