BACK CHARGE
Description
Good day, I am unable to load this account onto my profile to query it and receive errors each time. I refer to your invoice dated 25/03/2023. We have been back-charged water from 24/05/2022 to 22/02/2023, totalling 8 months and 29 days. I refer to your by-laws, specifically clause 12 regarding back charges, wherein you are only permitted to back charge up to 6 months, and nothing exceeding that. Therefore, we are not liable for the additional charges. Kindly see my calculations attached as to the water figure that is in line with your by laws and tariffs. We will therefore be paying the R62 995.32 (incl VAT) for the water.
