In 2018 My house was registered in my name but I did not live there, My granny was still residing in the house, as it was her wish to die in her house, so we agreed, I did not know, I was at fault by not activating my account by then. My granny passed on I 2021. I then went to Activate my accou t with BCM, I received a penalty of R29 445 as per BCM. I signed an agreement which I paid every month as well as the current. I paid every month R1600 and later increased it to R1700. There was one month I only paid a R1000 which I did not had enough money to pay the full installment,I paid the accou t unt it was R5999. Later the rates was added and increased my account to R7999. I am being blocked every month now, when I went for confirmation I was told the agreement is null as and void, not exist any more. I was I formed to make another arrangement, then told It cannot be done. I AM CLUELESS AS TO WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH MY ACCOUNT. I was asked to get a lettefrom the lawyers regard grtbe credion my granny's account, which I submitted. I am a single parent, battling to make meet ends and cannot afford to pay more. My late granny still receives an account for the water.wathissaccoubt not supposed to be closed already? I am so frustrated with BCM as it is almost two years that I am waiting for the water to be transfered in my name, I am so worried as I will have to pay so much more when it is being transffered. How long does a person wait for services being transferred, I just feel that this is really, unfair towards me to be treated like this, I would have understood If I did not pay anything to be treated like this, But I try my utmost best to keep my account up to date. I went numerous times to you counterservucesand I am bei g told the same story everytime, with no positive feedback, just that the complaints emails are not being read, so where does this leave me now. Please I need your Intervention in this matter and answers regarding my account please. I also had a leak last year my taps and pipes was ripped of from my walls and I had to get someone to fix it and reimbursed him, I submitted an affidavit at you counter services, as well.
